Summer show round up.

So its been a hectic few weeks for us here at Baberoo. It started with a fantastic photo shoot with the great Cristina Keech as I figured we needed some better images of babies in our products. Cristina was amazing and I loved all her images and her professionalism. She was so focused on the pictures despite 3 babies wrecking her kitchen!!
The results speak for themselves-

Then we had a frantic prep for our 2 trade shows  - I would have loved a few weeks to prepare a more creative stand but circumstances meant otherwise.
Still we had a great Pulse and Bubble show and enough orders to keep very busy for a while. Our new brand Babiators was very well received in the UK despite it being a couple of rainy weeks and lots of new stockists.

Our new images went down a treat and we had some great write ups from a few bloggers including Babyology and Junior Magazine. Thank you to everyone for the feedback and we look forward to working with our new stockists.

Right then - next step is getting ready for our jaunt up to Harrogate for the next show. See you there!!

Baberoo team bring you Babiators

Its been an exciting few weeks for us here at Baberoo UK HQ - after the busy post Bubble rush we were approached by another American brand looking for UK distribution.

After a few friendly emails and their appearance on BBC news Babiators decided to work with us under our official company name of Diddywear Ltd distributors.

So we can now officially bring you Babiators - safe, durable and awesome sunglasses for babies and toddlers.

Bubble London

Well its only 2 weeks overdue but I wanted to share some pics of the stand at Bubble London Jan 2012. It was all very last minute - I decided late in the day to exhibit at Bubble and wow was I glad I did. I had a lovely little stand upstairs (strategically placed by the cafe!) with the best neighbours!

I was so pleased with the feedback and the response from new customers as well as existing ones.

A little note to - I have to apologise to existing customers - we always communicate by phone or email I need a little prompt before I recognise you all in the flesh!

Bubble was a debut for our 2012 Union Jack socks and with some early pre orders taken at the show, I was confident in production getting underway. Fingers crossed there will be lots of Patriotic babies around this year.

So a huge thank you to the team at Bubble, my neighbours and especially the great buyers and stockists I met.

I finally got around to updating the stockists page on the website.Seems to be unusual to show who your stockists are these days - maybe some sort of industrial espionage thing I am unaware of.
However we are proud to say we work with these fabulous stores and would like to thank them for their ongoing support.
We have more stockists but just wanted to feature a few - we will add to the list as we go on and if any of our stores would like to be featured please let me know.

The Baby Show for Trade

Phew - a frantic catch up day today fuelled by copious amounts of coffee after the Baby Show for Trade. Where we had a gorgeous 6 m stand thanks to Clarion in a lovely location overlooking the main hall area. We were able to try a few display ideas and thankfully our new customers seemed to like it as we had some good orders and our organic cotton tights were a hit this show!! We as always met some lovely exhibitors and customers which makes these shows such a rewarding experience despite the few glitches.

Right- time to gear up for the next one now and heres a few pics of our huge stand - we hope you like it as much as we did.

Celeb baby wearer

So there I was quietly reading the papers online with a cup of tea and spotted the gorgeous Jennifer Connelly carrying her baby girl around New York. Upon closer inspection I thought I recognised the cute baby socks - a little further zooming in on the image and there is the unmistakable Baberoo name on the sole of the Lilac version of the See I'm a Ballerina socks.

Adorable! and so pleased to see the celebs don't just stick to the expensive 'known' brands.

Kind und Jugend 2011

Well, back safe and sound from our ambitious launch into Europe by exhibiting at the massive Kind und Jugend trade fair in Cologne. We had a tiny little stand and great Dutch and French neighbours to chat to which made it much more fun. We were so pleased that our organic socks went down a treat with potential customers in Europe. The most popular styles as always were the High Tops and the Glittering Mary Jane's - must be something about the sparkle!!!!

and this shows the size of this show - vast tracts of purple carpet lead you from one end of the halls to the other -a little like a scene form The Chocolate Factory ...

...or was that my show exhaustion kicking in!!!
